"Mobile" and "phone" don't have full forms. Mobile is an ordinary word meaning "able to move", from the Latin mobilis, and phone is short for telephone, from Greek words for "far" and "sound". Any expansion you see for them online was made up to fit the letters.
What your phone does have is a lot of real abbreviations: on the box, in Settings and in the status bar. This guide lists the mobile phone full forms people search for most, grouped so you can find one fast, with a note on where each shows up on a phone in India.
Mobile and phone full form in Hindi
The answer is the same in Hindi: mobile ka koi full form nahi hai, and phone ka bhi nahi. Both are normal words, not abbreviations, so any "full form" you see in a forward or on a chart is invented.
In formal Hindi, a mobile phone is called चलभाष (chalbhash), a phone that moves with you, and a telephone is दूरभाष (doorbhash), literally "far speech". You'll see दूरभाष on government letterheads and official forms, but in everyday Hindi people just say mobile or phone.

If your phone is ever lost, the IMEI is what gets it blocked. Our guide to blocking a lost phone on Sanchar Saathi shows how, and explains CEIR (Central Equipment Identity Register), the database that does the blocking.
What SOS means on your phone
SOS is not an abbreviation. It's a distress signal chosen in the early 1900s because it's simple to send in Morse code: three dots, three dashes, three dots. "Save Our Souls" and "Save Our Ship" were attached to it later. Both are backronyms.
On a phone, SOS shows up in two ways:
- Emergency SOS feature: since 1 January 2017, India's panic button rules require phones sold here to have a panic button. On smartphones it's pressing the power button three times quickly. On feature phones it's a long press of 5 or 9 (Voice&Data). It calls 112, India's single emergency number. The exact steps vary by brand, so check Settings, then Safety and emergency, and set it up before you need it.
- "SOS" or "SOS only" in the status bar: your own network isn't available, but you can still make emergency calls through any network in range. Regular calls and data won't work until the signal comes back.
